Workshop: Environmental Ethics and Value in the Age of Exoplanets

Registration is now open for the workshop “Environmental Ethics and Value in the Age of Exoplanets”, October 6 2018 at St Andrews. This is an interdisciplinary workshop. In it we’ll be working toward the production of an output: an essay that (1) lays out the central problems of environmental ethics relating to space science and exploration and (2) outlines how people from different disciplines can work together on answering them. The invited speakers are: Charles Cockell (University of Edinburgh), Tony Milligan (King’s College London), and Jacob Haqq-Misra (Blue Marble Space Institute of Science).
