Conference Announcement: EANA 2019

The 19th European Astrobiology Network Association (EANA) Conference will be held in the historical centre of Orléans, France on 3-6 September 2019. EANA joins together people interested in the origins of life and the search for extraterrestrial life in the Solar System and beyond. This interdisciplinary domain involves scientists from multiple disciplines, such as chemistry, physics, biology, geology, astronomy, and human sciences. Once again the annual EANA conference will welcome abstracts from all of these topics, with a special focus on space missions.

Registration and abstract submission details can be found on the conference website. Note that the abstract submission deadline has been extended to 28th June 2019.

Early bird registration deadline: 2nd August 2019.

EANA is particularly keen to foster the future of astrobiology in Europe, and is therefore offering a number of early-career travel grants. Details of the application process for these grants can be found here.

The conference venue, Hôtel Dupanloup, is a university centre creating a space for exchange between researchers and students. It is situated close to the cathedral, in the historical centre of Orléans.
