There has been no further announcements on this and registration was never formally opened, for instance.

Hello Oliver,
ASB 9 is still going ahead. It will be hosted at Birkbeck university on the 7th and 8th September.
Unfortunately registration is now closed. Registration was open for a couple of weeks and that followed about a two week period inviting abstracts. Both were advertised and the website for the conference can be found here: https://sites.google.com/view/asb9/.
